Documents required in order getting married in Dominican Republic:

Passport  or a valid travel document which was used to enter  the country, birth certificate,
document of a single status or divorce certificate – all these documents must be translated into Spanish by an official interpreter and certified by the Dominican Consulate or Embassy in the country of origin.
After the wedding, an official certificate will be delivered.  This will take approximately one week since the judge must have the document certified by the local authorities (JCE). Then the marriage certificate must be translated into the language of the country of origin, certified there, and presented to the local authorities (city hall), to have the marriage registered.
